The AXIS P3245-VE operates in temperatures of -40 to 50 °C with a rating of IP66 and impact resistance of IK10. This extended temperature range allows operation in cold storage, unprotected outdoor environments, and regions with harsh winters.

The AXIS P3245-VE has a lens with a focal length of 3.4 - 8.9 mm and a horizontal field of view of 100-36 °. This field of view covers areas such as corridors, entrances, and medium-sized spaces.
